Drinking the Moon

Founder of Blue Sky, Lewis Coleman, has published his first novel! It follows Tom, an alcoholic, as he enters a psychiatric ward for a detox:

Tom’s an alcoholic. But there’s something else. His mum says it’s the time of year. His sister says it’s the full moon. His dad hands him a drink. All he knows is he needs help.

In Bushey Trees Psychiatric Hospital, Tom will try to regain control of his life. At first he wonders if there’s anything really wrong with him. But when he befriends patients Sam, Sunni and Luke his line of reality blurs.

Will he begin to recover from his illness or take a darker path?

Inspired by real experiences, Drinking the Moon is a vivid depiction of life on a psychiatric ward from the mind of a patient.

It’s been an intense few months of editing, which comes at the end of a ten-year writing process, but Drinking the Moon is now available in print and on kindle:  bit.ly/drinkingthemoon

The Meeting - First Readthrough

This week we held the first read-through for The Meeting, in Weston-super-Mare. We first performed the play two years ago in Burnham-on-Sea, we're now working towards a second production some time in 2017.

If you'd like to get involved in acting or backstage, get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!

Waiting for Godot - Thanks for coming!

Thanks to all of you who joined us on Saturday for Waiting for Godot!

After a lot of hard work (and endless line-running) the cast put on a great performance of Samuel Beckett's classic.

The performance was only possible thanks to the amazing and whole-hearted support of our Kickstarter backers. Thank you everyone!
